Sacred Emblems
This emblem would have been joined to a support, such as a pole. Represented is the "master of animals."
This figure has multiple janiform heads and holds a beast at bay in each hand.
It is thought by some, to signify man's mastery over nature.
These may have been used as household shrines and were often placed at burial sites.
