Rutilated Quartz
Rutile is a major ore of titanium that forms needle-like inclusions inside quartz. They both have different levels of hardness on the Mohs scale. For this reason, rutilated quartz is a difficult stone to smooth in order to be properly set in jewelry.
It is said to be a strong healer and slow down the aging process.
