Carnelian Tanfouk Pendant

Hand crafted by award winning jeweler Moussa Albaka. This pendant is made from carnelian and sterling silver. A tanfouk is commonly worn by the Tuareg women woven into their hair as a fertility symbol.

The men wear the tip of the tanfouk as a stone etched into a silver ring symbolizing the sunrise and the start of a new life.
