Ancient Bronze Bilobate Arrow Heads

Hebei and Shandong Provinces.

The name Shandong means “east (of the) mountain(s)”, which refers to the province’s location east of the Taihang Mountains. Shandong ranks first among the provinces in the production of a variety of products, including cotton and wheat as well as precious metals such as gold and diamonds. Shandong is one of the richer provinces of China.

The name Hebei means “north (of the) yellow river”. Hebei’s main agricultural products are cereal crops that  include maize, wheat,  millet, and sorghum as well as cash crops like peanuts, cotton, soya beans and sesame.
